We had to bring our dog, Charlie, here for Emergency Care on April 1st. Every interaction was professional and they treated my family with dignity and respect. They gave him the best care they could and while ultimately it didn't work out for him, we knew it was the right thing to bring him here.nnEvery staff member was kind and caring. They were not trying to rip us off, overcharge, etc just doing what they believed needed to be done for Charlie's health.nnThese folks are animal heroes and are doing amazing work here.
We have unfortunately needed an avian vet in the middle of the night on more than one occasion due to pulled blood feathers. St Charles is the closest to us, at over an hour and a half away, and every bit worth the drive! They have treated us with kindness, compassion and empathy every single time. They are so good our babies and very thorough in evaluation and educating us as well. Never pushy, they offer options for care with an honest and open minded approach. I highly recommend and only wish we were closer.
My puppy Daisy had just gotten spayed and the next day was acting really funny. I didn’t want to take any chances so I rushed her right to the hospital. The care that she received here was like nothing I had experienced. The love and compassion they had for my dog was amazing and they fixed her right up and she’s back to being a playful puppy again! ud83dudc9c would def recommend this hospital!
I used to love this place and sadly after they turned into an emergency vet the the level of care declined. I’ve been going here for 7 years and after my last visit I decided it’s time to find a new place that doesn’t treat me like money. I know the vets are still caring and compassionate, but it terms of your regular vet it’s better going with someone else.
One of the most difficult things our family has ever had to do was put our sweet boy Tank down to rest. Although I did not join my brother and mom during their visit, my mom shared only positive thoughts about the doctors and staff at St. Charles Veterinary Hospital. The staff was very professional, caring, sympathetic, and honest. The room where our dog was laid to rest was very calming, serene, and put us at peace during such sad time. Even after the team continued to show compassion through a card sent to the house and when we went to pick up his remains. We would trust the staff at St. Charles Veterinary Clinic with our other fur babies.
