The staff is RUDE and HUNG UP on me for inquiring on the status of my friends cat in renal failure. She asked me to call since I’m an RN. They told me they wouldn’t disclose their clients information. I asked if there was a privacy document signed and I was hung up on. What customer service!!! Pets don’t have HIPPA protection and there was no privacy or confidentiality form signed.

Such a great first visit with our puppy today. The front desk was sweet and helpful. Dr. Cullota was friendly and took the time with me to answer all my questions I had. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Even during his shots they were so gentle and the tech was great with our puppy, he didn’t even cry with his injections. Even the groomer came over to greet my puppy and I! Excellent customer service and my puppy was never anxious which for me is huge.

We adopted our dog from the Doggy Day Care owned by Dr. Culotta's wife. She rescues dogs from PAWS that she thinks are adoptable, then she and Dr. Culotta get them ready for adoption. The staff at the Emerald Coast Animal Hospital knows and loves our dog. They treat her and us with the upmost respect and are sensitive to her needs, as well as ours.nIt's important to me to be able to take care of my dog at home as much as possible. If you request, they will spend the time to teach you how to do certain basic care/preventative care for your pet. For our family, we wanted to know the best way to trim the nails of a hyper, small dog with black nails, as well as effectively clean her teeth and put fluoride on them daily. They will show you and allow you to show them back, so you feel more confident in caring for your pet when you go home. They definitely want you to be successful and competent in caring for your pet.nThe staff is always friendly and helpful, whether it's on the phone or in person. They genuinely care about the pets/animals that they see in their clinic, and it shows. Our dog loves to go to the vet and runs around and greets everyone behind the desk; she is happy to be there!nWe definitely recommend the Emerald Coast Animal Hospital at the corner of Highway 98 and Mary Esther Boulevard for all of your pet's needs. You won't be disappointed!

When first moving from out of state I chose this office due to the closeness to our home. They were happy to see us come. Had all our records. We have a 9 yr old dachshund that has had seizures for over 6 yrs. So he has to have medication. Although I had a complete check up before leaving our vet we used for 9 years. They basically wouldn't use any of the records....Had to run all new test (run the bill up!) All blood work was normal for the meds he takes DUH! Then they are horrible about refilling his prescription that he has to take daily! It is a fight every month! Then they want you to come in and get rechecked (more money) and get the medicine from them instead of the pharmacy (more money) which is double what walgreens charges! I know you have to run a business to make money as a former business owner....I get that.nBut not calling in prescrptions when it's life threatening is not good medicine! Won't go back, gave them 10 months TOO long to try to fix THEIR problems and get THEIIR act together. Don't waste your time or money find a office that cares!
