I’m saddened and disappointed. I have been coming here for years for my pups & one pup in particular was getting very sick. We had several appointments over the years leading ultimately to the death of our dog. I’m not sure how it went unnoticed for so long that he then entered complete heart failure 4 days after having been seen at this vet. We were told he ultimately seemed healthy besides the ongoing nonstop cough. We had been treating our dog for a different diagnoses and I just don’t understand how this happened. I’m mad at myself for allowing this to happen as we were told by a different vet in the emergency situation that our dog stopped breathing it could have been prolonged with medication and care. It got missed... I feel horrible this dog probably suffered for 3-4 years because I truly believed in the vet we went to. I would have ultimately given 1 star but the staff truly have been kind to us, we just were let down and unfortunately due to this sudden death of our dog I do not feel comfortable taking any of my pets back there and will be moving vets.

Such great service! I couldn't have asked for a better experience being at a vet clinic. I will continue to bring my little guys to Animal Clinic of Elkhorn. Thanks to the wonderful staff!!

Every job requires some sense of humanity and care and we did not receive this here.nnI have never seen such unprofessionalism in a job where your main goal is to provide the best care and advice you can give to your client.nOur dog was denied proper care by Doctor Keri. She was diagnosed with Lyme Disease; the vet did not prescribe her medication until we nearly demanded it. When we asked why our dog did not get the medication right away Doctor Keri said, “I don’t like to push medication on pets.” After speaking with a vet at a different clinic, it turns out she should have also been trying to flush her kidney’s out with how high her levels were. Her staff even agreed the doctor was making the wrong decisions.nInstead of being truthful, they gave us false hope and told us she was “not critical.”nnIn the end we had to take her to another vet after this clinic would not return our calls. Sadly, we put our trust in the wrong people and our dog passed away because of it. This is an extremely short version of what we had to go through with our dog.nnWe’re not an angry family who is just upset their dog has passed. We are a concerned family who hopes we can prevent another family from going through the heartache we have. We hope we can save another’s pet from Keri’s negligence and poor ethics.

Thank you for taking such good care of Holly! I was able to get an emergency appointment, same day. Staff was quick, professional, and caring! I will not hesitate to go back!
