Fellow Mortals is an AMAZING wildlife hospital. Mary Ellen called me back shortly after leaving a message. Specific instructions were given to me prior to arrival at the hospital. Yvonne was taking care of another wildlife patient, but she still waved hi to me.There also was a packet that was left for me with all kinds of information. About 10 days later, I received a postcard on behalf of the animals THANKING me!! I also received the report for the animal that was admitted .I am so very thankful, appreciative, and grateful, for EVERYONE at Fellow Mortals. My cat attacked a poor little bird and I knew I wouldn't be able to care for it properly. I am very glad to have a place like this to turn to to help the little ones that need it. Fellow Mortals took it in and are doing their very best to help give it a chance to recover. They were kind and helpful towards me. The call back was a little long, but I'm sure they are facing challenges with covid like everyone else so I can understand it. As an added bonus, I have since found out that they are also a no kill shelter! Truly amazing work and exceptional hearts.
I transported a Nighthawk from the Wildlife Rehab center at the Wisconsin Humane Society to Fellow Mortals for rehabilitation. Fellow Mortals already had a Nighthawk and it's best if conspecific birds can be together to prevent human imprinting which is why it was transported. Fellow Mortals is one of the many topnotch wildlife rehabilitation centers in Wisconsin.
Great history, Perry good food. The fries are awesome, great atmosphere and it's quite.
I called because I rescued a baby Robin from a cat the night before. They called me back an hour later and had me bring it to them. They are very friendly and very helpful.
