As parents of a mostly hospice-age pack of dogs, I wish we had found this incredible vet practice sooner. Due to unfortunate circumstances, our two experiences have both been with very old dying dogs. However, I can't imagine vets or staff with more compassion and understanding than the people at this clinic. They are kind, supportive, knowledgeable, honest, and affordable. They listen, which as a seasoned animal parent is very important to me, as I know my animals and am very aware of what's happening with them. It's really refreshing to be heard- and acknowledged. It's a bit of a drive for us, but well worth it. We are looking forward to switching all of our animals over to this clinic.

I take all 4 of my dogs to Dr.John’s. Love them! Can’t say enough good things! They take care of my dogs needs while still listening to my concerns and opinions. I love that they won’t rack up an unnecessary bill just to collect more money. Amazing staff!

I have been going to Dr John since he opened his practice in Eagle River. We primarily live in MA and visit family here for a few months each year. MA has some of the top vet hospitals but I do not go to any vet in MA because since having my cats go to Dr John, nothing is comparable. He is an excellent doctor- knowledgeable, professional, caring, helpful, and has a great sense of humor to boot. He gives me 100% confidence that my little ones are in the best hands and will receive the best care available. I love this place, love Dr John, and love the staff. Such a treasure in the Northwoods. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. ~Vicki P.
