Mayfair Animal Hospital

Mayfair Animal Hospital provides excellent emergency veterinary care at a reasonable rate. The vets and assistants are helpful and friendly and don't try to persuade you to do expensive tests and procedures that are not necessarily required. The vets and staff are friendly in a real way. Our dog was perfectly comfortable going inside -- twice -- while we waited in the car. Overall, I am really happy our vet recommended that we bring our dog here when there was an emergency.

The staff is compassionate and very responsive to questions or concerns. I have taken my cats to them for both emergency and routine visits. I love the convenience of 24/7 hours and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend them!

Helped save our cat Loki!

I took my 9 month old puppy in due to an emergency GI issue. The check in process was pretty painless and when my dog was in with the doctor, the doctor called me and went over every detail of his health and presented me with three different treatment options. She thoroughly discussed each treatment option with me and together we decided on the best care plan for my pup. It has been one day since our visit, and my dog is almost completely healed. Highly recommend Mayfair Animal Hospital!!!

The first time I’ve been here it was for when my cat ate a string and was throwing up. The vet informed me that it was wrapped around his tongue and they had to do surgery incase it was further down his stomach before they even relayed this information to me they already printed and handed me a bill for surgery that was a couple thousand dollars which I couldn’t afford so I asked them was there any other way. They were talking about NOT using certain things to lessen the pain for the cat during surgery to make it more affordable. And when I said is there anything else that’s possible the next thing told to me was putting down my cat before even saying that they could try to just pull the string out. I told them to please try and pull it out since it was just around the cats tongue and they came back out of the room only to tell me that the cat swallowed the thread and to come back if my cat doesn’t pass it. They charged me for a normal visit which was a couple hundred dollars and I took my cat home and he’s just fine no thanks to them. If this wasn’t bad enough I called them later when I found a stray cat and asked and when she answered I asked “is this animal hospital only for emergencies?” She said “no we also do regular checkups” so I asked “would you be able to check if an animal is chipped?” She proceeds to say “I’d recommend calling a non-emergency clinic thank you”. This was a horrible experience they only want your money and nothing else take your pet to a place that actually cares about the health of your pet.
