new to the area and was looking for a reliable vet office for my cats. They were very helpful. Answered my questions i had before booking the appointment, during, and after. somewhat more expensive than other vet offices I have visited, but their professionalism makes up for that.

What an excellent experience with great folks! We were pointed to these providers by a trusted friend who knew we wanted additional help for our guy (Phoenix, a Standard Poodle) with allergies. Dr. Jessica and each member of the staff have been so good with Phoenix and with us. They have taken time to listen carefully, answer questions and provide feedback, recommendations, suggestions and good information for us to make decisions about what might work best for Phoenix and our situation. We really appreciate the experience they bring and their approach to helping us. They care about Phoenix and care about us... just outstanding - thank you!
I cannot express how helpful and caring they are here!! I was visiting Wisconsin a few weeks after my dog had surgery at home in Texas.nnLong story short, something had gone wrong during the initial surgery. Wausau Animal Hospital spotted it immediately and worked tirelessly to help my dog. They called the other vet in TX, the drug manufacturers - everyone that was involved in order to get to the bottom of the issue. They went above and beyond even though I wasn’t even from this area.nnEveryone that works here is SO caring. I truly felt like my dog was getting the best care here, so I ended up extending my stay.nnEverything here is truly 10 out of 10 stars - the front desk, vet techs, veterinarians, and physical therapist.
The veterinarians are very attentive, and everyone is always friendly. They get back to every call, and are quick to get back to me about my aging pet concerns. They are the only vet clinic I go to, and the best (of many), in my experiences.nnTheir exotic vets are well versed in rats, as well, which is a major weight lifted. P.A.W. does not, so if Wausau Animal Hospital is closed, I only have access to limited treatments and knowledge. They have dealt with rat seizures, colds, tumors, and neutering the male.nnSick animals are scary; this facility qualms those fears, and help my babies to feel their best, as long as possible. They keep things affordable, as possible, while explaining the reason behind every cost, and communicating all the options. Worth every penny.
