Best vet ever... cares more about animals than the dang money! I like not paying extravagant fees just so a vet can have a “modern” office. Animals don’t care what an office looks like!!! Since I have large animals I rarely go to the office anyways. One time I needed a med and he left it after hours for me to pick up... now that’s service!! Love Dr Rydberg... he’s the best!

Dr. Rydberg is an amazing doctor. If you want someone who loves animals you have found the right doctor. His staff is always willing to help and always available in an emergency. I have never been happier with a veterinarian in my life.

We have been going to Dr. Rydberg for years with our 3 dogs. Someone mentioned the interior of the wait room. It is not flashy, it is not updated and it is not trendy. Therefore we do not, as financiers of their patients, pay for aesthetic updates that are only important to human vanity; both unimportant and irrelevant to the care of animals.nI love that Dr. Rydberg is imminently practical and a clear expert. He comes alive when interacting with our canine companions and gives very useful advice that ultimately saves us loads of money as a result.nFor all 3 of our dogs to have an annual checkup, we pay 1/2 of what it cost for just 2 of them to get their annual at Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital. When our dogs get fatty tumors, we are advised to keep an eye on their growth and are asked if we want a biopsy to confirm Rydberg's suspicions. When a fatty tumor does need to be removed, Rydberg recommended it only because the tumor was in a location that was interfering with Teddy's quality of life.nEven though it is a hike, we will continue taking our canine companions to Rydberg. I only wish there were more vets like him!

Very friendly place and most importantly very knowledgeable veterinarian who is very affordable.
