My 17 y/o son picked up his very first fancy arrangement of flowers for his first serious girlfriend, complete with a heart glass vase and a heart balloon. And while the balloon was cute and the floral bouquet and arrangement was colorful and just gorgeous and exactly what my son wanted and hoped for his first big romantic endeavor...my HUGE complaint has to do with the end result customer service he received when he actually picked up his order. Since this is his very first order, he did not know what to do or ask for. But he was quite taken aback when he was simply handed his vase with the arrangement in it and the balloon attached and that was it. He was a little upset there was no bow like I asked there to be. He knew that the bow would be extra, just like the balloon would be, and he was fine with that as they were both ordered together at the same time and he was told that they would both cost extra. However, whoever took that second phone call and the additions to his order DID NOT WRITE ANYTHING DOWN ON HIS ORIGINAL ORDER AT ALL!!! Just let it go in one ear and out the other. And this arrangement was ordered about 10 days before Valentine's Day, so plenty of time. Not only that, but they just handed my son his order. It was not in ANY box whatsoever to help with transportation. There was no place nor no way for my 17 y/o son, who doesn't even have his permanent driver's license yet, to get home to the Skemp subdivision area to get showered and changed and then up to the Darlington area with his floral arrangement in his car, without it flopping over or tipping over at the first little stop, yield or turn. No way. He had to hold it in his right hand all the way home and then all the way up to Darlington.. with a balloon attached as well. In the middle of winter, in the middle of February, right after a snowfall, with ice also on a percentage of these roads with only ONE HAND ON THE WHEEL!!! R U SERIOUS??!! Talk about a huge safety concern and problem, not to mention extremely poor customer service.
