I had a GREAT experience with Haentze Floral Company. I placed an order late in the day for a funeral the next day. Given COVID, I didn't have the exact details for the funeral. They turned my order around very quickly. I actually scheduled to have them delivered to the funeral home when they should have gone to the church. They were delivered to the church in time for the service. GREAT example of GREAT customer service. Well done Haentze!
The selection of houseplants is pretty decent and I have been able to find some rarer/hard to find plants in the 4-inch area on occasion. Prices are a tiny bit steeper than most of the other nurseries in the area ($7.99 for a 4-inch as of my last visit) but by no means unreasonable. Service is great; the last time I was there they only had something I was looking for in a hanging basket so I asked if they could go check in the back and they came out with a 4-inch pot of the item I was looking for.
This company may make acceptable flower arrangements but their customer service is extremely poor. I've talked to 2 different people over the phone about ordering flowers for a funeral and both times it was like talking to a brick wall. They don't listen and interrupt when I try to explain what I want. Maybe an in person visit is better.
Beautiful flowers bought site unseen. They had the courtesy to take a pic for me and run a very special message over to the funeral home. I didn't get to see the other 3 sets of flowers but I found them online so I was more interested in my special order. My friend is gone but with the memory cups her sister will cherish.
