Memory Gardens of Farmington

My mother was laid to rest over 30 years ago here. My grandmother would take us out to take flowers and it was so beautiful.My cousin was laid to rest here in 2007 and several other family members. It use to be a beautiful cemetery with lush green grass and always well kept. Since Serenity and Co took over it has become a mess! No grass, weeds and now new plots are sinking because the water was left on for a long period of time! Have also seen broken sprinkler heads shoot up like fountains! Awful people who took over! Please for the love of God do what you were PAID to do! Take care of your grounds where our loved ones are resting!!! How hard is that!?

I have a son in babyland at this cemetery. Some grave sites are literally caving in on themselves. Most of the grass is dead, they throw away perfectly good grave site decorations. They put no effort into making this place a beautiful and respectful resting place for your loved ones.

My baby sister Dawn Murray-Derwin was buried here 2 years ago. At the age of 33, my family was of course devastated but wanted to put her in Farmington bc it is where she was born and the family still resides. We not only purchased her plot but also enough to make sure we can all rest there together one day. Our family owns 40 plots. We were promised the cemetery was upping its maintenance as it was rebounding from a drought (it’s NM). Now two years later, it has gotten much worse. The grounds are bare, the staff doesn’t think twice about running over graves with tractors and destroys the efforts of families who try to improve the graveyard by beautifying their loved one’s resting places. Numerous complaints have been filed. They don’t communicate. In fact, when i finally did get someone on the phone she hung up on me and was unhelpful, unfeeling and unprofessional. They don’t answer complaints or concerns and frankly, they just don’t care. Their corporate management in Arizona obviously doesn’t care either as their responses are non existent as well. All we want to do is make my sister’s resting place gorgeous until the owners step up and do it themselves. If they put as much zeal into maintenance as they do in throwing away momentos and running over gravesites, this place would be a top-notch resting place. Instead, it just compounds hurt on top of hurt and is known for taking advantage of those in their most terrible circumstances while peppering families with meaningless promises as they sign away thousands of dollars for a gravesite surrounded by nothing short of a dry, brown dust bowl.

The property manager has no compassion, empathy, or even common courtesy. She’s very rude and the only thing that matters is getting your money.

My son and my father and multiple friends rest here. The state of the place is atrocious! I bet the owners do not have loved ones here.
