We have been going to East Maryland for more than 11 years. The first dog we took there had lots of complex medical issues and Dr. Wendy Schroeder helped us navigate through them, referring us to specialty vets when needed. We are now seeing Dr. Schroeder with a 6-year-old dog who has developed some unusual medical issues. The level of commitment and quality of care remains at the same high level. One of the best recommendations, though, comes from both past and present dogs, who walk into East Maryland with tails wagging and are happy to see Dr. Schroeder.
Dr. Martin’s and the staff are always very professional, compassionate and definitely love what they do! I lost my 13 1/2-year-old French bulldog a couple weeks ago, it was completely devastating. Dr. Martens and the entire team were so compassionate, loving and caring. It truly helped me get through a hard time in my life!
My pet was having issues. Did not have an appt, but they worked her in to see our vet, Dr. Schroeder who is terrific. Did what need to be done and I have some follow up to do in her treatment. This vet hospital is the best, friendly, caring, knowledgeable and great followup.
All staff was very courteous, friendly, helpful and accomodating. I asked for someone to carry my very heavy cat in and a technician came out to the car and fetched the carrier. Also carried kitty back when appointment was over. The vet I saw, Dr. Clemons, was very patient and knowledgeable and explained cat's condition/treatment very thoroughly. Altogether a very pleasant experience.
This is a fantastic veterinary practice. Everyone is very helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. I have a senior pup with some health issues and they take great care of him. Highly recommend.
