Dr. Kahn is absolutely amazing! I have taken all of my cats there for the past few years and they are always treated so kindly and compassionately. Anytime I have needed them, they squeeze me in to help. So glad I found this vet and can’t imagine going anywhere else!

The entire staff and veterinarians at this clinic are outstanding. They're excellent diagnosticians, and very responsive, informative, understanding, and compassionate. Our black lab has received outstanding care when visiting the facility in Rice Lake.nnA special thanks to Dr. Mike Kuchevar, who yesterday made an immediate and an accurate diagnosis of several difficult diseases affecting our 12-year old lab. One diagnosis involved cancer and Dr. Mike handled the situation with practical and compassionate advice while spending a lot of time with us thoroughly explaining our dog’s diseases, what to expect, and how to handle future difficult decisions we may encounter. As someone who was a healthcare professional for 40 years, I can say he is a true professional who's more interested in giving appropriate care than necessarily increasing our costs. Our sincere appreciation goes out to him.nnAs a follow up to my earlier post, unfortunately we had to euthanize our lab after it began to suffer from the effects of its cancer. Because it was on a Sunday, we contacted several animal clinics close to our home in Barronett; however, no one would come and, in fact, suggested that we wait until Monday to bring her to their hospital. It is totally unacceptable to allow a dog to suffer for the sake of convenience. We originally had hesitated to call Animal Hospital North because of its proximity to our home, but out of desperation gave them a call. The veterinarian on call., Dr. Schuster, responded immediately and made the long trip to our home.nnWe can't thank Dr. Schuster enough for her responding immediately on a Sunday to help us with a very difficult and incredibly heartbreaking situation. She was very caring and compassionate, and she showed great concern for both us and our dog. A touching moment was when she carefully and lovingly wrapped our dog in a blanket for burial and gave her a kiss goodbye. She is a true blessing to her profession. We will never take another pet of ours to anyone but Dr. Schuster in the future.
