Highly recommended. The woman that answered the phone was very helpful. Once we got there, the tech and the vet could not have been more caring, understanding and compassionate during a difficult time. Maybe a little more expensive than other places but the service and care is second to none!

Taken care of 7 diff. Pets over the years. I cannot say enough about Dr. G yesterday helping me through the death of my very sick Love of my life. I recommend them for any/all their services.

A door closed on my cat’s tail and after finally being able to get him out from under the bed and dress the tail myself as best I could it was too late to take him to a normal vet so I took him here. They looked at it for 3 minutes and said they had to amputate the tail the next day and quoted me over $2,500. A friend then pressured me to get a second opinion after talking to multiple vets, so I took him to a vet where the vet looked at me in shock for even mentioning having the tail amputated and the reasons I was given by Savannah after he inspected the tail. Thankfully I listened to my friend and got a second opinion. Please get a second opinion from a vet before committing to anything from this place unless it is immediately life threatening. It seems to be a chop factory and they saw an easy $ check.

I had my first experience with Savannah AH this past weekend when my 13 yr old Border Collie got a severe case of sand impaction (one of the worst cases they have ever seen there). They were extremely accommodating and fast despite being really busy after hours. They explained everything to me and even printed out the X-ray so I could see for myself how bad the situation was. My dog ended up staying two nights to work the sand out of his small intestines. They called me every morning to let me know how he was and also took my multiple calls (even one at 10pm) and were extremely nice and understanding. Dr. Bielecki even picked up on his grade 3 heart murmur that I forgot to mention (my dog has several health issues and that one slipped my mind in panic mode). This really stood out to me because with his heart murmur he could not handle the normal amount of fluids that they would give a dog his size that didn't have a murmur. So the fact that she caught that without me even telling her made me feel at ease that he was in the right hands. I also did not feel they overcharged me at all. ER visits and overnight stays aren't cheap no matter where you go, but they gave us a rough estimate of cost so we knew what we were looking at beforehand and they didn't do more than they needed to do, especially when it came to the X-rays. Even though I would not have cared if they did more, but they felt confident he got it all out and didn't need to do the extra step of another X-ray. Hopefully you are never in need of emergency care for your pet, but if you are I would highly recommend Savannah AH. I can't thank them enough for all they did to make my boy better.

Our family fur child was hit by a car and immediately taken here. They are open 24 hours and very accommodating. The staff was very knowledgeable and took care of Clover with TLC! On the down side, prices were on the high end.
