Had a horrible experience with this office and Dr Farmer. My 17 year old cat had swollen on her right face and her eye was swollen and leaking. I took her to Dr Farmer where they said she had a bad tooth. So glad to hear it was nothing serious. His staff mentioned cleaning her teeth but Jane his office manager said it wasn’t really needed. Dr Farmer pulled two teeth out , we were informed only one but he pulled two. After surgery they tried to raise the bill $90 more then what we were told cause of they second tooth being pulled. That didn’t work. After paying $110 for two teeth pulled he sent her home with antibiotics. After two weeks. My daughter called the vet to inform them that our cat wasn’t recovering well at all. And asked if it’s ok to continue the antibiotics. Jane was very rude to my daughter and said to her if you would of paid $300 to have her teeth cleaned she would be fine. My daughter was in tears. Not only her cat was sick and looks worse then before. His office staff are rude. I called the next day to talk to Dr Farmer and he wasn’t any better. Very rude. I informed him of Jane being rude and his response was did your daughter getting over it. I said excuse me he said did she stop crying. I said no she are upset. Our cat looks worse and she needs to be seen. He said well I suggest you go somewhere else and have her seen. I said you treated her and did surgery. You don’t want to see her ? He said no you and your daughter need to see a therapist. I have never in my whole life been so disrespected. This vet is local and well known. So surprised to be treated this way. Dr Farmer will never get our business or our friends and family. I want to make sure you don’t get treated like this either

Dr. Farmer has been dealing with our pot belly pigs for years. He is a caring man who is there for the animals not his wallet. Thank you Dr.Farmer for all your years caring for our Sassafras and Dumplin.
