Circle Veterinary Clinic

My family has always had animals. My parents began taking our pets to Dr. David Wilkins' dad when he was on the corner in Wilmington. When I had my own animals, I went to the first Dr. Wilkins too. I have been with the practice since the 1960s -- wow -- last century!! I don't know what I would do without this vet!! His staff is wonderful too!! He is a great diagnostician. He loves my animals.

The people at the front desk are THE most miserable people I’ve ever dealt with. Vets are nice, but not worth it. Wouldn’t bring my dog here ever again. If they treat people so horribly over the phone, how are they treating animals when no one is looking and you can’t go in wit them? Horrible experience more than just once.

My dog had been going to circle for years for regular check ups. Due to moving my dog stopped going to circle for 3 years. We recently moved back and in that time my dog had developed health issues that were not figured out by my previous vet. When my dog went back to circle Dr.Shifflett immediately knew something was off and guided me to the right steps to get to the bottom of things. I was completely overwhelmed. After a year of nothing but unanswered questions my dog finally has a diagnosis thanks to her. Definitely a great place

They are organized with appointment times. They have paitent doctors that spend time understanding your pet and evaluating them and explaining thier finndings.

Very sympathetic in a difficulty situation helpful in every way possible. Had to put a pet to rest, everyone there was respectful. Thank you!!
