Farragut West

This was our stop when we visited the Renwick Gallery, part of the Smithsonian family of museums. The layout, design, and amenities are typical of other stations (if you've seen one, you've seen them all). Kudos to them for installing some A/C in parts of the station so it wasn't too unbearable being there in the summer. No restrooms as expected.

Great location

it's your typical underground Metro station. only thing to note is the Farragut Crossing transfer to get you to F. North on the Red line.nnhowever, the signage to direct you to the right exit for the Farragut Crossing is minmal if not non-existent, so if you go to the wrong exit, you have to re-pay to get back in the system.

Farragut West Washington Metro Transit Authority (WMTA) Station is an average station. very close to food and shopping options. It would be nice if WMTA would connect underground Farragut West Station with Farragut North Station. you can walk about a block and get back on the red line

Typical metro station, yet minus most of the crazies you might encounter at other stations. Mostly business people head through in the morning as this is one of the main stops (blue line) & (red line for Farragut North) that leads into the triangle bid district. Some decent eateries & coffee shops in the area, personal suggestion is compass coffee. But this stations area is not a major one for sight seeing.
