Ask for help at the desk man behind the glass was very rude and basically told me to get away from him. Being from another state I had no idea which train I needed to board. I had to ask a local man for help luckly he was helpful and did let me know that the people at that station were always rude to everyone.

As others have said, the station is relatively clean and well-lit, but unfortunately doesn't provide much cover from wind which is really apparent during the frigid winter months. The two entrances/exits are also very far apart, so make sure you use the correct one or you'll be doing some unnecessary extra walking.nnFor DC railfanners, this station is great as it provides a full view of the Union Station rail yard, with Amtrak and MARC trains coming and going every now and then.

The station is clean, light and modern, and is much nicer than many of the older metro stations. It can be a bit hot or cold, depending on the season, as you have to wait outside. The trains come often enough.

Easy to navigate metro stop, clean, helpful staff. Would love love love to see a future expansion someday to have a pedestrian tunnel to Union Market. Come on, dedicated funding!!!!
