The principle of this business when encountered him 2008 ab when my son died, let greed outweigh his ability to be sympathetic & kind. My son was about 6ft. 4in,& over 200 lbs. - a full bodied young handsome young man. Suddenly dying, I was in shock, overwhelmed with grief & barely able to think. Let me say there are or were then individuals handling the business: a man - Jordan who appeared to be the principle, and very gracious woman who gave me a beautiful gold angel she pinned on my blouse the day of the funeral, December 19, 2008. Jordan explained an additional price for the size of my son, but lacked tact in his presentation of that information on telephone. When I arrived at the funeral home I needed to sign the agreement and settle the business. On the statement was dollar amount that appeared to be what Jordan and I discussed on the phone that he said he would waive. His partner, who worked with me in reviewing the agreement went away with the statement and returned to say that dollar amount should be deleted. Previously on the telephone, I spoke to the partner, the gracious lady, and I told her to keep Jordan away from me. He was argumentative, the last thing one would expect at such a time. As I viewed my baby for the last time, became time to prepare for the service. This MAN stepped right up & began winding something to close the casket, staring at me, rather than coming to me & gently telling me that we to prepare for the service. No class. The gracious partner I still have much gratefulness for her grace & class & for helping me & handling the business as it should have been. Love to her & her pen is still on that blouse. It is with the cards, plant holders & other rememberances of my son who suddenly transitioned. I think of her everytime I look at that beautiful gold angel.
