I called during election week (busy streets in DC!) at 3:30 pm for a delivery to a restaurant by 6pm. The lady I worked with was so kind and helpful and she made the delivery happen with short notice! Arrangement was perfect. Kudos and thanks to this business for going above and beyond!

Ordered flowers for the July 4th holiday weekend to be delivered to my daughter.. I was initially disappointed when they had sold the last blue ford truck that I had choose to hold the arrangement. However my request, after Columbia communicated with me, was substituted with an American flag container and the flowers selected were beautiful, I do not live in DC but my daughter forwarded a photo. I have used other florists in the city and was disappointed in one way or another with the end result, but not this time. I may have found my go to flower shop.

Yes, I know it is COVID and Yes, I know Mother's Day is busy... but fulfilling on expectations is one of the most fundamental principals of business AND even more critical when delivering on the emotional promises of others. Columbia Floral Gallery failed my expectations - big time. I ordered a floral arrangement from Columbia Floral Galley to be delivered to my wife - about 10 blocks from their shop in DC - on the same day I ordered an arrangement to be sent to my mother-in-law in Virginia - by a different florist. Columbia was a disaster. Flowers eventually got delivered after 7 pm on Mother's Day after many calls and much frustration. The first time I called to check on the confirmation they could not find my order and complained to ME that it was a web order. The next time, they said they had no idea when my order would be delivered but would call me back with status and did not. When I finally spoke to someone who confirmed my order, they could not give me a time or even a window for delivery. Throughout the calls, they constantly complained that they were busy and had a lot of orders... When I called at 5 pm on Mother's Day - still no delivery, they told me that I had to be patient because they were working hard. They said it would arrive before midnight and hung up. I will never purchase from them again. And I will advise anyone who asks to use a different florist. In contrast, the florist I used in Virginia, where I also placed a web order, confirmed the order by email, confirmed that the arrangement was made - by sending me a picture of it! Then they confirmed it was on the delivery truck with another message and still another one for the actual delivery. They were on time and the arrangement was amazing. No excuses needed. They made commitments and they met them. UNLIKE Columbia Floral Gallery - don't use them if you can use someone else.

We have used them for years with my company. And the flowers are always beautiful.

They are always perfect.
