I started taking my pets to this vet when I first moved to Portland, and 10 years later we drive from Vancouver to keep coming to this vet. They are wonderful people, they treat the animals with care and respect, and I never have questions about what's going on behind closed doors. Their response to handling the COVID 19 situation is also on point, with telehealth for the pet parent to participate in the check ups and ve able to view what is happening. I will never switch.
They were great! So friendly. Dr Avalon was willing to go the extra mile to recommend specialists for our anxious little Griffon.

After taking my dog to another vet she immediately improved and her condition was actually treated. Not saying they are bad vets, but I will say my dogs medical care was much MUCH better at Cornell Road Veterinary Clinic.nnAnother big issue I encountered was they refused to run lab work and did not return my call after asking them a question. Funny they told me they had to see her to test her urine, while the other vets would take her sample w/o forcing us to jump through hoops.nnIt is fair to point out that the staff is very nice and clearly are animal people.
Wonderful, caring, affordable - I won't take my dog and cat anywhere else. A veterinarian with so, so much heart.
