They are pleasant, attentive, always willing to help. Dr. Sid is a peach. My career is in dog training, rescue and disaster response for pets for over 55 years. I am the co founder of the first dog park in the country. I am the author of “Dog Parking It!” And founded an award winning Animal Assisted Therapy program in the SF Bay Area.nnI have worked with a variety of veterinary health care facilities over the years. If I could, I would fold up each of his staff and him, all their personal companions and stick them all in my pocket. Great crew. And Frolic LOVES them! Dr. Sid and staff are the absolute best! Treated a sick dog on an already full schedule (day before thanksgiving)nTurns out my GSD had fish poisoning and could’ve had a much different outcome had she been seen at a later date. Dr. Sid even answered my text on Thanksgiving Day!! I will forever be thankful for him and his team for saving our girl!

So glad that I switched vets to Dr. Sid. He and his staff are trustworthy with my beloved pets and take excellent care of them. I like the drop off feature too, I don't have to worry about even my dog-aggressive dog, they know how to handle that. The doctors experience shines through with his care and I additionally never feel weirdly pressured for a bunch of extra procedures and constant meds like I did at my old vet. Now when I leave the vet I feel like a good dog mom instead of a failure. I can tell my dogs are a lot more comfortable and happy there and that probably matters most. Very highly recommended.

We picked up some monthly medicine for one of our girls the other day and today, one of our girls, Sophie, had a doctor appt. for her ear that had a yeast infection. We were pleased after talking with Dr. Sid on the phone. He is very good at what he does! Dr. Sid is the only doctor there so it's hard to get in to see him soon and they're really busy on the phone much of the time. So far, we've been happy with Pacific Avenue veterinary clinic and the tech we'd like to give out kudos to is Courtney. She's extra nice and takes time to explain things to you and is very knowledgeable in pet care. She makes us feel like she's genuinely interested in our pet.

I discovered Dr Sid years ago when I adopted an elderly cat (Sam) with chronic issues and I was traumatized by driving him into Hillsboro for vet visits. He helped me stabilize my cat for many years and was there for me till the end. I immediately adopted two older bonded cats (Kirk and Spock) and Dr Sid is helping me keep them in great shape. I also have peace of mind when I board my buddies at the clinic.
