Absolutely the best vet ever. My family has used this vet for almost 30 years. The new owners are very different than Dr. Hamilton, but are just as genuinely caring and compassionate.nnWhen my 15 year old dog was in her last few months, they allowed me to prepay to have her put down so I wasn't covering the cost of that at the same time as losing a beloved family member. When the time came, they came to my home and let me hold her while they administered the drugs, and then quietly let themselves out. It made such a difference to me to not have to stress her out by bringing her to their office during her final minutes.nnI cannot recommend a vet more. All of their veterinarians are amazing - we have used all 4 now for various pets. I encourage every animal owner I know to visit Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic.

Positive: I received a call from the veterinarian and discussed my dog’s health. It seems like they are big on client education and are knowledgeable.nSaw my dog within short notice.nnCon: Withholding Medication. My bill went from $40 to around $140. To be fair I was informed it could happen if tests were ordered. During checkout I was informed my card accepted $90 and declined the rest. I had similar card issues two weeks prior so I asked them to run it the next day or I could run to the ATM, they opted to run it the next day (understandably, we are in midst of pandemic). However when they brought my dog out I was informed they were not going to give her antibiotics until my bill was fully paid. Unfortunately time had passed and running to ATM was no longer an option so I paid them the next morning. From business perspective I completely understand their move but from a concerned mom perspective I was turned off. About a year back I had forgotten my card at home and Green Mountain didn’t withhold my dog’s medication.nnWould I recommend this place? Yes. Only writing a review in hopes they can come up with better plan to reprimand parents for not having it all together while still making sure the babies are taken care of. 5% interest for late payment maybe? Idk

The staff at Pleasant Valley Veterinary are amazing from the reception desk to the doctors. They are friendly, efficient, responsive and thorough. Not only am I confident that my fur children are in good hands here, I am confident in the transparency and communication that I have an will receive about all aspects of my pets’ care. So happy to have found this place!
