Hilltop Veterinary Hospital

I've always recommended this place to people. However, when I took my dog today he was seen by a male doctor. We typically see Dr. Davis (a woman). She has a great bedside manner and always makes me feel like she truly cares about the health and well being of my dog. This man seemed very knowledgable, but not very personable. I felt like the 2 o'clock appt. Maybe he was just having a rough day, but I didn't care for him. He may be an amazing vet, but just pales in comparison to Dr. Davis. My dog didn't seem to care though.

I do not write reviews often or without thought. But I feel somewhat obligated to caution owners who take their animals' health seriously. This review applies only to my experiences with Dr. Wolken. Just be cautioned to ask many questions, advocate for a more thorough examination, and do plenty of research ahead of time about a possible/probable diagnosis. It is my opinion that he missed the mark on treatment for two of my animals by a long shot. Out of fairness, I have no way of knowing whether another veterinarian could have saved either one of my sweet dogs, but I do know I would have had the peace of mind that the doctor I chose took diagnostics and treatment as seriously as I do.

They got us in and our dog treated very quickly. Very nice folks. Would highly recommend them for any emergency animal issues!

I love this place. They are better than any of the other vets I have taken my pets too. When I lost my little Beare they was so comforting.
