Very professional. Very understanding. Had to take a girlfriend's dog in there that had passed away and they were very sympathetic and highly accommodating.

The first experience I had was okay. I liked my vet tech and doctor. I went in because my cat was throwing up several times a day for a week straight. I was told that my cat had gastroenteritis and she would be better within a week, but to COME BACK IN if she keeps vomiting.nnShe keeps throwing up. I bring her back in over a week later and she had a different doctor. Although I told them why I was bringing her back in (because they told me to), I was treated like I was being paranoid and crazy and then was charged for my visit. Although I was told to bring her back in if she didn’t stop throwing up.nn$700 total at this point, Vetco told me my cat had bad acid-reflux. They said to keep giving her medication and that we couldn’t do anything about her excessive vomiting, so we just kept giving her the medication to keep her from vomiting and didn’t think anything about it. At least I spent $700 to know my cat was going to be okay, right? NOPE.nnA few months later, she stopped eating and she laid in the same spot for two days so my husband wanted a second opinion. Thank God we took her to a different vet! She was properly diagnosed with pancreatitis. They said she lost a lot of weight, had a fever of 104.5, and was severely dehydrated. Our new vet sounded very hopeful that she can get her healthy again and was not happy with what she saw from Vetco’s labs or what we told her. She said (along with several other vet techs unaffiliated with my new vet) that Vetco should have caught this.nnI strongly recommend NOT going to Vetco. It’s a good thing we went to a new vet or she could have had her pancreas fail.

Melissa and the doctors at Vetco have been more than helpful to me when no one else was open or available. My vet is closed on Sundays and this group has come through multiple times for me and my sweet pets. They got me right in, no extra charges which is extremely helpful - pet care is extremely expensive, especially when you have to go somewhere different and they try to charge for taking temps and weight - that is NOT the case in my recent experiences with this group. I couldn't be more grateful for the care and support provided. Can't say thank you enough so hopefully this raving review will help anyone that needs reassurance. I am very skeptical and nervous when using new doctors and am so happy to have this team so close. Thank you!!!!!!!
