Stockdale Funeral Services

For me, Stockdale Funeral Services made a difficult time, less so. I was walked through the funeral process and advised what to expect and how to respond. I also very much appreciated the After Care Service. My personal conversation with the Estate Specialist provided important information. The Estate Specialist helping me, Kathy, even contacted my local Social Security office to help resolve an issue. Thank you.

I want to highly recommend Stockdale Moody Funeral home. I want to specially thank Megan Flores from the bottom of my heart for helping us with my father’s funeral arrangements. She was so patient with us. We were coming from out of state, but she made things go so smooth. And never felt alone. I think this are things that are extremely important. If I could give you guys more than 5 stars I would. My sisters and brothers are very grateful. Thank you , thank you so much.

Colby, Funeral Director and Amy, Aftercare Estate Specialist have been very helpful and everyone else working behind the scenes. They have made phone calls and arrangements and guided me on after estate planning for my Father. I highly recommend Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services.

A funeral is one of the hardest things a family has to go through. Stockdale Moody Funeral Services did everything right for my husband's service. They took care of it all from start to finish and even have an aftercare program that helped me with my estate questions. Robert Kaelin was our funeral director and I will be forever grateful to him. He was on that phone with us and for us anytime, day and night. Every person I met within the Stockdale Moody organization was caring and compassionate. They even brought their therapy dog to the Rosary. Paula arranged everything for me at the cemetary. Kathy Mills was my aftercare estate specialist who helped me with calling social security, and answered my financial questions. The last thing you want to worry about is details when your loved one passes away and Stockdale Moody allowed us to grieve while they worked their magic behind the scenes. I would NEVER recommend using this funeral home for any loved one you may have. They were the most RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL people I have ever met. We relied on Stockdale Moody to leave a positive memory from this heartbreaking experience and we trusted them to take care of him. But they did not! We were told to be there this morning no later than 9 AM to load my grandfather into the hearse. When we arrived at 8:35 AM, we were told we needed to get to the back immediately because the woman in charge was not waiting another minute to load him up. We were also told we would leave the funeral home at 9:20 AM. The woman in charge was trying to pull out before 9 AM. We realized there was not a single officer to escort my grandfather, retired Military Lieutenant Colonel W.S. Tarter. He served for 30+ years and the funeral home did not even attempt to get him a escort. (The virus prevented us from giving him his proper military honor). When we asked the woman in charge if she even tried to get him a escort, she said “I’ve worked here for ten years. I KNOW they won’t do it” and refused to even try. Luckily my brother is a officer and was able to contact Rogers and Fayetteville police department and they honored my grandfather today and escorted him to his burial site. The officers had 7 minutes to get to the funeral home because the woman refused to wait beyond 9:15 AM. Even though we were scheduled to leave at 9:20 AM. When 9:12 AM hit, she was pulling out even though we told her the officers were less than a mile away. Thankfully they arrived and stopped her from leaving the funeral home without a “proper” escort. If I could give this funeral home zero stars, I would. The director of the funeral home came outside to figure out what was going on and instead of being professional and apologizing, she stood next to the lady driving the hearse and shook her head at us with disgust. DISGUSTING AND MOST DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE!!!!!! I wouldn’t take my worst enemy here.
