Just went to get a quote with Stratford for optional coverage. I was told by the employee my 15 years of driving do not count since they were in India. I was also told only foreign driving experience counted were USA, Australia, Europe and other "WHITE" countries. My question is why?? In a multicultural country like Canada? In 2020? Why am I being discriminated against because of my ethnicity? ICBC recognizes my driving experience. why does your company have a problem with minorities? I have emailed a complaint with British Columbia's Office of Human Rights.

Benny from Sussex Insurance sold me optional insurance through Stratford. To my surprise, I saved close to $400 in comparision to ICBC and with better coverage. He reviewed to make sure that I got proper coverage as I use my my vehicle for my real estate business.

A terrible underwriter. Sure, they may save you money on your monthly bill, but as soon as you have a claim, they are useless.

I own a luxury sports car and I was able to save $600.00 by switching to Stratford Underwriting Agency for my optional Insurance for my vehicle. I was absolutely blown away by how much of a difference it was compared to ICBC, I had to double check everything to make sure this wasn’t a mistake. Even after I paid I still couldn’t believe it. I’m surprised brokers aren’t encouraging people to check to see if they can get significant savings by getting a quote from private insurance.
