The Book Shop

Wish we could bring this store with us back to Vancouver!! Wide selection of books and very well organised. The staff were super helpful and genuinely tried their best to help us find the books we were after. Prices were also very decent. There’s something wrong if you walk out empty handed because there’s a book for everyone.

It's great to have the Bookshop open again. A wonderful used bookstore. They are of course doing their best to create a safe place for their customers because of Covid.

This is definitely the kind of store you want to spend a day in, however I found the service left a little to be desired. I felt more like I was in the way during my experience in the store, a nuisance, than a customer. So my advice to prospective customers is be very clear on what you're after if you're calling in, confirm your titles, and confirm they're being set aside for you. I ended up leaving empty handed. I just wanted to edit this review to add that the store emailed me back with a photo of their selection and had kindly offered to set a title aside for me. That was nice, and I did appreciate it very much, so I'm bumping up my score to a 3 as the selection certainly speaks, ahem, volumes lol

Amazing selection of books, magazines, and reading accessories. I could easily get lost without a care in the world. Everyone in my family found a book they wanted, so well worth the trip! Staff was extremely friendly and helps you find some hidden treasures too!

Such a great store! There's rows and rows of books everywhere; so many topics to choose from! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Prices are on the first page of the book, written in pencil.
