North Park Bike Shop

I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with the friendly and professional staff at North Park Bike Shop! As newbie to cycling, I recently purchased a bike there and I continue to be blown away by the friendly / no pressure environment they provide, (having shopped around for several weeks, I sadly cannot say that about several of the other stores I visited). Matt was very friendly and attentive and it was very clear that he wanted to coach me on understanding the best bike to suit both my abilities and needs. As someone who has spent a career in sales, I am keenly familiar with and sensitive to 'up-sell' strategies. There was absolutely non of that. AND, they offer 2 years free service to boot! I have shared this experience with several friends and colleagues and have come to learn I am not alone in my positive comments on North Park Bike. All of them agree it is one of one (if not the best) cycling retailers in Victoria for several reasons, most notably, their high standards of professional, friendly and honest service and EXTREMELY competitive prices. What a great place. The service is fantastic! The prices are very reasonable! I am treated extremely well every time I visit. They go out of their way to assist you, even with last minute issues. They have always been very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend purchasing and/or servicing a bike with them.

I purchased a Yuba Spicy Curry after looking up dealers across Canada and they had the best price and stock. Service was top notch and they gave me tons of information and other options. Our transaction was done all through the phone and email so I haven't visited the store in person but based on my experience I wouldn't hesitate to shop here again. What a great store and I love to see a small business that are pro's at what they do.

So I walk into North Park Bike Shop 5 minutes before closing looking for some obscure bike parts. They found the parts for me and took the time to answer all my questions patiently even though it was quittin' time. That's good customer service.
