This is exactly what one means when they say "hidden gem". One of the best selections of books I've seen in years- I even found an old classic I'd been dearly missing from my mother's cook book collection. I'm ecstatic at the friendly service as well, not minding two giggling punks in their shop chattering to ourselves.

Love this bookstore. Cathy has all kinds of neat and interesting titles.

As I have not been to the store in person probably not fair at first for 1 star. But I sent a message and finally got a response the other day to save me the trip based on the information I requested on a book. I see the book I have on ebay (new) I have for $150 to over $200 US and was told I would get $15 Ca. for it. I started with 1 star and upgraded to 4 star for the response and information. As for the information on my book ? Something's out of whack as to the value. I will have to ask around more as this is way off what I see online. Thx. Cathy
