Excellent, wide ranging selection of mysteries. Frances is very knowledgeable and helpful for those just beginning to explore the genre and for those seasoned collectors looking for an elusive edition. First rate store and a must-visit destination.

Very well stocked used bookstore. Found everything on my list which is unusual for a used bookstore. For the past 6 years I volunteered at one in the Montréal area so I'm familiar with the operations. My compliments to this owner.

If you like a good detective story or crime story, stop. This store has it all. I bought two excellent books and I haven't put them down yet. If you like Philip Marlowe or Sam Spade just ask. You won't be disappointed. Very pleasant staff with very helpful merchant neighbors. Good prices for old classics. Definitely my go to book store in Victoria. Will order by phone as I'm out of town.

Francis is one of the nicest ladies you will ever meet, she runs this store. She can give you recommendation for your tastes in minutes. A wonderful store, nothing of the kind around.(for the genre)
