Giant White Rock

I went in recently and the guy working said can I help you. I said I am looking around to see what you have in and he said ok, but if other people come to the door I will have to ask you to leave if your just looking around. I said I will just leave now then. I told him so only people coming in to buy a bike can stay. I always thought when you are looking to buy a product you should shop around and see what's out there. Wow what an arrogant punk. Would never buy my bike there. I have gone into many much higher end places to buy than a bike shop and have never been told that.

Wow even though Giant was backed up and I wasn't going to get the bike I ordered, my first brand new bike that matches my daughter and wife's, Giant white rock went out of their way for me and tracked me down another model( an upgrade ).... it s about 2hrs away and the manager Chris is picking it up personally! That is great news for me cause now the whole family can ride in style on our Giants.... ofcourse this could not have been done without the help of CYCLEPATHS Kelona they were willing to give it up so I could ride! Thanks guys

I had my bike into the shop last week to get some minor servicing and parts replaced. Jeff did a great job getting my bike back up and running very quickly. I know this shop has been incredibly busy of late, like many others, but the customer service and knowledge provide was top notch. Will be back.

Excellent service, reasonably quick turnaround. Staff was very courteous and professional.

Today was probably the third time I've been to the White Rock location and the last one. When I got to the store I saw a sign that masks were mandatory and I was wearing one. I went in on a mission, knowing exactly what I was looking for and I did not see the sign that said "Please sanitize your hands". I did not do it on purpose and walked to grab the item I was going to buy. Every single time I've been to the store to buy mostly accessories there is one specific employee who has an attitude that leaves too much to be desired for customer service. He said in a very rude way" Didn't you see all the signs that are everywhere?" And honestly I didn't. The way he talked to me was so bad that I apologized for not seeing the sign, sanitized my hands, which I touched only one item with, and told him that I was not going to buy anything because of his repeatedly bad attitude towards me every time I've been in the store. Very unfortunate, I live the area and even though I did not purchase my bike from this store it's nice to have a close by store where I can get accessories. Once again I am not complaining about the safety measures towards covid whatsoever this is ONLY about this employee's attitude. I am new in the bike world and I would have thought that a store like this would be more of a friendly type of environment. Definitely not the case in this store. I will never buy anything from this store ever again and I will make sure that the people I know in the area that also ride bikes do not either.
