Excellent Store! I bought a road bike online and it was perfect. They sell good quality products but their main strength is their outstanding customer service! They will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Their salesmen in the bike sections are passioned about cycling, making it very easy to communicate and get precise answers. Overall top notch experience that I would recommend to anyone.
Superb service. Very knowledgeable and attentive.
UPDATE: After the bad experience I went through, the owner and the manager sent me a message. They offered to reimburse the amount the service cost and they offered to do a full Tune-up by one of their top technicians for free. From then on the experience was ok. I know they did their best to make up for what happened and I appreciate that. For this reason, I'm going to leave a 3/5 as an overall rating of the whole experience.
On the 31st July 2020, at 10 a.m., I rode my 1986 Campione del mundo BIANCHI vintage bike to Oberson Brossard, along with new Vittoria Corsa G2 tires, a new bar tape, a new saddle, and a pair of NOS gum rubber brake lever hoods. All of those waiting to be installed on my bike. Everything was still in the box, new and unused. I was told that installing everything would take 20 mins top, it took TWO hours. Already one of the gum rubber brake levers was broken, this was an original vintage piece in top condition before entering the shop. They charged me 80.20$ for the service, and minutes later, mounting my bike literally in front of the shop, it stopped. The alignment of the rear wheel was so badly done that it got stuck in the frame. I had to pick my bike and walk to the shop. After "repairing" it, they gave me back my bike and the new-from-the-box handlebar tape (which is white) was soiled with black grease, upon giving me my bike and seeing the condition it was given to me the middle-aged bike seller told me "En tout cas, je l'aurais pas prit en blanc". Now, as infuriating as this may be, I actually couldn't complain about it, because I was late for work and came to the shop riding my bike.
Later that day, I came back to express my disappointment. They did not apologize, but they did clean the mess over the handlebar tape. And I thought that was the end of it.
Fast forward, to exactly a week later, August 7, after a single 3-hour ride, I realize there's something wrong with my rear wheel. Turns out not only the alignment of my rear wheel is once again crooked and wasting my 70$ new tire for no good reason, but the rear brake was so poorly installed that it was biting into the tire instead of biting into the rim, wasting once again my new tire and giving it a nasty look. Now, I'm 150.2$ short (80.20$ for the "service" and 70$ for my poor damaged tire, without putting into account my brake lever hoods) I learned how to fix it myself. It took a little bit of patience and proper care.
Upon reading my review, Oberson Brossard did everything they could to make up for their mistakes. My bike is now 100% and clean, ready for my next ride.
The sanitizers and masks are located in the entrance that it feels safe to shopping, but some customers ignore to wear the mask 😷 to protect workers and the others from COVID19. The representative was not enough knowledge for inline skates.. maybe I was picking up the cheapest one? 🤔 He was busy to talk with his colleagues.
Very helpful staff
