This store is absolutely stunning! The staff are extremely professional and nice. I returned an online order, made and returned an in-store purchase. Returns are seamless, without any restocking fee another reviewer mentioned. They offered free customization and molding with the purchase of ski boots. Great deals for Black Friday started a week ahead. Definitely highly recommended! It's a surprise some other reviews are less than glowing. They probably revamped their policies and attitude after those reviews. Definitely a pleasure to shop here now.

I order 5 items on black Friday. Canada post claimed to have picked up my order and everything was great. AFTER Canada post picks it up I get an email saying my item was out of stock and they offered me a 10% discount. This doesn't compare to the black Friday deals but whatever. A week goes by and I still haven't gotten anything except another email telling me that another item is out of stock once again offering me 10% off my next order. I still haven't been refunded for one of the items and no one is getting back to me. This company is run by thieves and liars. It's hard to think such a big company could get away with lying about stock numbers and stealing 80$ from someone.

Even though I ordered online, I'm reviewing the Brossard location because this is where my order shipped from. The Sporting Life web site is OK but could be more user-friendly as it's a little messy (in my opinion). That said, I ordered an Arc'teryx fleece because it was on sale due to Black Friday, and they seemed to be the only online retailer who had the colour I wanted. I placed my order on Tuesday 11/24 and received it 11/26). No issues or hassles like I have read in previous reviews. Since the item didn't come in a plastic bag like most items do when shipping via other retailers, I can only assume that Sporting Life ships directly from stores (perhaps this is dependent upon the buyer's location, product availability, or both). That said, my item was wrapped with tissue paper. The labels were still attached, and no security tags had been left on it (phew!). There were many, many strange fold marks but after washing the shirt a few times, they seem to be going away.

Horrible customer service. I went to purchase ski bindings, and the customer rep. told me I couldn't purchase bindings if I didn't buy the skis there also - which makes no sense (If I went to purchase a bike helmet would they require me to buy the bike also?!)... I asked for the person's name, he told me Larry. When I called their head office to file a complain, they told me no one is named Larry at their Dix30 store. Never shopping there again.
