Would have gotten a 5 star if it wasn't for the unnecessary bashing of the competition. Their products are good and stand on their own. Qualified folks who can answer all questions.

I purchased my GIO Italia back in April and have been perfectly satisfied with my purchase. They answered all my questions and helped me make the correct choice for my needs with no attempt at all to upsell me on a more expensive model. The scooter has performed great so far and I think I'll have many years of riding to come. As for the person complaining about riding on bike paths... I regularly ride mine on bike paths during the day with no problem or hassle from anyone. I see people riding their scooters on the paths all the time. You simply have to be sensible and not ride where there is lots of people and bicycle traffic. Along the waterfront in Verdun/Lasalle and the Aqueduc paths there is generally no problem. I have even asked a police officer who told me that as long as I don't go riding at high speed into busy areas I will have no problems. Obviously if you go riding on the bike path in the Old Port which is packed with people you will have a problem. Use your head and you'll have no worries. On the paths I use it's rare that I come across more than a couple of people over 5-10 km of riding. Oh yeah... the scooters are not 'boosted' and are perfectly within the law regarding top speed. The bug is that the speedometer tends to read higher than you are actually going. Don't worry, you won't go faster than you are supposed to unless you are going down Atwater hill without traffic. LOL Anyways, if anyone has been thinking of getting an electric scooter I can't recommend it enough. The price certainly can't be beat nor can the practicability and convenience.
