A-Ok Used Cars

Found a decent vehicle, that was supposedly inspected. Within the first 500km of driving this vehicle, a coolant hose burst, check engine light came on and a brake caliper seized. Inspection sheets are a fraud and the owner is a sheister. Be very cautious dealing with this place!!!

Just a junk yard out in a field. Overpriced junk they found abandoned on the road some where, most of the scrap they call vehicles won't pass inspection.Every thing about this place is shady, form the salesman to the customers, This so called business just drops the value of the surrounding area and attracts shady people.

I dont understand some of the reviews. It's a used car dealership if you want brand new, go to a new car dealership. Lorne hides nothing about his vehicles. He will point out every issue, debt, rust etc. He is always honest and fair with us, which is why we have bought many vehicles from him and have sent him many new customers. My latest deal, an 05 Honda Accord, 4 doors which is what I needed, 5 speed, low kms and no issues other than some age showing in appearance. In less than a month, I have put on several thousand kms with ZERO problems, and only a couple tanks of fuel. All for less than 2 grand. Cant beat that, even privately. My wife is still driving an suv we got here 3 years ago, and have done no maintenance other than regular oil changes, filter change etc. Over 40,000 kms and no problems. We will continue buying here and referring this place.

Recently purchased a car from them. Good price and a good car. It has never been so quick and easy to buy a car from a dealership before. I Will be buying a truck from them in the near future.

Got 3 vehicles from them over the years. Always gave good prices and the vehicles have lasted us a long time. I would've given them 5 stars a year or so ago. However, last year, we were looking at a van. Their credit machine wasn't working but the guy assured us it would be by the next day or two. We put a $100 cash downpayment on it. We could only pay in full using a credit card so we waited for their machine to be fixed. We lived in Medicine Hat at the time and couldn't just make trips in whenever. We called in a couple days later as we had plans to go get the van in the next day or two. We spoke to the woman instead and were told the machine still was not working. I said we were assured it would be fixed and she said we shouldn't have been told that because she didn't think it would be fixed for a few more days. I asked for our $100 back and she refused saying it was non-refundable. Completely unprofessional. Had we been told the machine might not be fixed for a few days, we would've never put money down on it as we don't have time to make special trips to Coaldale especially since two of us need to go so one person can drive it back. And to not budge at all on the downpayment despite giving false assurances to your customers is wrong and I honestly felt betrayed. We won't ever be dealing with this place again. Untrustworthy and we are really disappointed in them.
