HUB International

Hub International is awesome. Economic Insurance which is one they broker for is horrible. We had an accident last May that wasn't our fault, they wrote our car off and low balled the value. Ainsley Flooding one of the Economic agents was a disaster to deal with over the phone. This matter is finally coming to an end and we are still being screwed by Economic Insurance. The leather seats in the car are worth more than their offer. Hub International Staff had tried to explain on our behalf and nothing in return Thank you Jeremy and Ashley, at least you believe in customer service.

We had to purchase home insurance at the last minute and Deb found us a quote quickly. We sent her all the information required and she got everything ready for us to sign the day we were to close the deal for the purchase of the home. My husband emailed her a void cheque the day before and when he went in to sign the home insurance contract. Deb had edited his void cheque and explained it was because he changed his bank branch and this was the correct one. She made him initial the void cheque to acknowledge the change of branch. He did so upon her request. Months down the line he realised payments were not being deducted for something so he contacted hub to query this and they insisted the payments were being made. 2 months later they email us to let us know the payments are coming from the incorrect amount and they want us to pay everything in 3 post dated cheques which they say is a favour to us because they usually make you pay it all upfront. We have tried to make reasonable arrangements with them and they refuse and insist it's our fault even though we checked with them about payments not being deducted. Toni then insists its not their fault and we should appreciate the 3 payments they are giving us and after a heated exchange hangs up on me. Deb also no longer works there conveniently, so they cannot confirm who edited the void cheque. Absolutely disgusting service especially during covid where people don't have money spare to just pay large amounts for problems like this.

I love coming to this place. They have the most friendly staff. These people go out of your way for you to make sure you are covered.

Recent move to B.C. Robyn made the transition comfortable any easy. Robyn was very informative, explained all aspects of our truck insurance in a clear and concise manner. Highly recommend.
