The woman I dealt with today at the front desk had no idea about ICBC policies. I asked some basic questions and got continuous shoulder shrugs and "I don't knows" , I even asked if someone else might know and again another shoulder shrug and "I don't know". I mean no attempt to even google it or simply just ask someone; this is Not the kind of agent people should be trusting. Its unfortunate because when I went to the Capri mall location last year I had such an amazing experience and became a loyal customer... but now because of this woman's horrendous customer service and callousness, I'll probably never trust Capri Insurance ever again. I very rarely write reviews but I felt this one really needed to be expressed. I just hope she can learn from this ... but if you were to ask her, I'm almost positive she'd just shrug her shoulders and say, "I don't know". Update Aug 31 2020: I spoke with their marketing manager who seems to be a very thoughtful and genuine person who listened to my concerns. She asked if she could get a team leader from this same location to call me to answer those questions I had. I said sure, thinking why not just bury the hatchet and move on and possibly even delete this post altogether (like I said I normally don't complain much and feel bad leaving negative reviews in general). I got that call and she did a good job of answering my 2 straight forward questions re ICBC's new system coming soon (1)when would it likely begin and (2)the likelihood of premium decreases. Then after asking me 3 more times if i had any more questions (to get off the phone i presume) she mentioned that those were actually "hard" questions... Sigh. Its become abundantly clear that for their office these are indeed hard questions, amongst other issues... But luckily, I've had many great interactions with many knowledgeable agents over the years that would very much beg to differ. Those are the types of agents I will gladly seek out for my insurance needs moving forward and I'd highly, highly recommend you do the same.

I recently dealt with Capri CMW Powick location, I was in the parking lot, waiting for my insurance to be brought to me curbside. While I was, I witnessed an agent dealing with a customer who was being verbally abusive towards not only the agent but other customers. I understand this is a very difficult, challenging time that we are going through "together" but there was no excuse for his behaviour!! But I have to say this agent handled the situation with patience and professionalism. Hats off to this agent, and all the agents of the Powick office. While i was awaiting my insurance to be brought to me, I witnessed many insurance agents coming out and greeting clients with smiles on their faces. Cheers to you Powick Team. Keep up the good work, your efforts are not going unnoticed.

We had an extremely wonderful experience with Katie D'Aoust, she made a generally very boring experience into a lively, fun and exciting encounter... She was professional whilst being friendly, charismatic and personal catering the experience to our needs, rather than making it fell like a chore. i would recommend anyone that has insurance needs to contact her for 10/10 service! People have no idea here about their work. I went there for car insurance for the first time in Canada. I wanted a basic insurance but they charged me with third party insurance. Also they wrote my last name wrong and said to me that i need to go and change that in ICBC on Springfield. And no apologies? Seriously worst insurance experience ever. I don't recommend.
