Was looking for a quote on private RV insurance, had nothing but very invasive questions. I've had no fault claims for 20+ years. Demands that you buy replacement insurance for an RV younger than 10 years. Anyone who owns an RV knows how quickly RVs depreciate so this is just a cash grab. Why would I insure something I just bought used for $16k two months ago but have to pay insurance for a brand new $35k trailer? Big thumbs down to this insurance company.

amaaazing service!! i was getting my first car transferred over as a gift, and everyone at BCAA was so helpful, gave us all the right paperwork and prepared us for the complications. we got everything done over the phone and they made everything so easy and stress free. highly recommend!

I'm a bit late in posting this, but Lyle P helped me with my car insurance needs earlier this year and I wanted to leave a review with how impressed I was with the customer service. Lyle went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up properly and I understood what I was getting. He was friendly, patient and very professional. Last year we had the misfortune to have our dishwasher empty in our kitchen and a pipe flood our bathroom weeks apart. We were concerned about filing 2 claims so close together and inquired of BCAA, before filing the second claim, whether or not it would negatively affect our eligibility. We were assured that "these things happen", we can only file 1 claim every 5 years that would not affect our rate so since we were filing twice our premiums would increase for 5 years until our file was clear again, but there is no problem, "that's what we have insurance for". Based on this advice we filed a second claim. The restoration was a disaster from the start, there was no oversite or proper management, our house sat with water for long periods of time while our questions and phone calls remained unanswered. We hired a second restoration company who assured us that the work should take 2 months. We moved out of our house in November of 2019. The mishandling of our restoration work resulted in mould growing on our walls, It took BCAA 5 additional weeks to approve the removal of water damaged materials. We spent Christmas in adjoining hotel rooms with our kids and could not return to our home until April 2020. What should have been a straightforward claim turned into a costly drawn out ordeal that turned out to be the most stressful experience we have had as a family. During the time that we were displaced we received several apologies from BCAA and had many conversations with sympathetic agents who agreed that what we were dealing with was definitely not the norm and unacceptable. This fall we received our renewal notice outlining what our increased rate would be, but 2 weeks before our home insurance expired in November of 2020 we recieved another notice informing us that BCAA is refusing to renew our insurance because it's too costly. Despite the massive ordeal that our family has been through, exacerbated by BCAA's admitted incompetence, we remained loyal to them because our families have had memberships for years and in the end, the work that was needed was done. We are shocked that BCAA deliberately mislead us and have put is in a position to be frantically searching for a new provider with a large claim on our record that is at least double what it should be. In short BCAA is only interested in customers that are actually never in need of their coverage.
