Village Books & Coffee House

I like the idea of a book and coffee house hybrid. The gentleman that greeted me, whom I presume is the owner, was very friendly and attentive. However, it's the high prices on the books and cramped walk space that lowered some of the appeal. Renovating any place can be a bit tricky. I have yet to try the drinks and treats here. They have many interesting books (used and new) that certainly caught my eye. I will not discredit this place since it is definitely great to browse and to buy. Maybe another time I will take a longer stay, drink a good drink and all that. Stay safe.

My favourite place to grab a coffee and relax. Great selection of books and they can quickly order in anything they don't have. The female owner is always extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great ice cream and coffee + community bookstore

I love the customer service I receive here. I'm known by name and am treated with care and respect. Their 49th Parallel coffee is divine and eats are made locally or in-house. The book options are vast and if there's anything you need they can bring it in.

Finding a bookstore is finding magic, shelves full of history and stories, of the dead that still live among us through ink and paper, Borges use to said "Let others pride themselves about how many pages they have written; I'd rather boast about the ones I've read.", an amazing place with amazing people.
