Steveston Book Store

Loveliest little book shop. They had a really great selection of new and used books. The owner was super helpful to help you find what you needed. Also he was very cautious with covid and only allowed 3 people in the store at a time. Great prices and so helpful! Will go back for sure!

I love this bookstore. I've been coming here for years. I do the trade-ins for the secondhand books. Great selection of used books. Any time I've wanted something the owner can find it for me in his collection. Even better, for me, is the new books. He has an amazing collection of books that aren't the typical bestsellers. Finding these books is what I love about going to a bookstore. Picking up that book and being excited to get home to start reading. A lot of the new books are Canadian content focused. I find the prices very reasonable. And the owner and his wife are just delightful. You can tell that he loves books.

This store is a bit of a cluttered mess, but the owner is cool and helpful and you can definitely find a few gems here. It is worth spending your time and looking around. The sections are organized a bit, but I wish there was a computer to find things quicker. Give it a go if you have some time!

Always interesting to go digging through this little shop. They have a huge collection of used books. So many that they're piled up on the floor and there's leaning stacks everywhere. Wierdly enough, the owner seems to know where everything is, and can pinpoint books down to the section of floor they're stacked on. If you want an adventure that Indigo/Chapters can't supply, go here. I'm pretty sure this shop is one of those magic shops that contain gateways to other worlds.
