Should be zero stars if possible. Horrible hosts at Richmon Lansdown, all staffs/agents not busy at all and I counted 7 of them and no customers. I needed to cancel my home insurance, but host say that an appointment is needed, and they are fully booked for 2 days. I argued to get this taken care of now, since no one there. But she keeps insisting I needed an appointment. What kind of customer service is this. My time is valuable, apparently BCAA doesn't care about their customers. What's the point of having a membership. I am cancelling everything.

Thiago was very professional and helpful. I didn't receive my official ICBC insurance and sticker in the mail during the COVID lock down so I had to call BCAA again to get it sorted out. I had to report to the VPD and then had to deal with the RCMP. So it took awhile to get it done. But Thiago was patient and made sure my papers got processed that day and available for pick up the next day - beyond their stated office hours. This is my second time dealing with the staff at BCAA Richmond and I'm more than happy with their service. You've got me as a loyal customer.

I spoke to the most unhelpful, insensitive agent today. I called regarding cancelling home insurance/getting a refund for a family member who recently passed away. The first thing the agent asked was "Is there a death certificate?" "yes", I replied. Then, she asked if there is an executor, in which I answered no to. She then comments with "Oh, that's too bad" as in there was nothing she could do for me in regards to cancelling or getting my money back. Her tone of voice was the worst! She didn't ask for a policy number or ask further questions to help me. She kept saying that if there is no executor, then there's nothing she could do. That is the law. She asked if it was a condo and who lives there now after I asked more questions in hopes of getting her to help. I told her that the person who passed away lived in an assisted living home... I even gave the name of the assisted living home. Regardless, in the end, she got frustrated with me and made me feel belittled because we didn't get an executor. I asked for her name and phone number in case I had more questions, but she brushed me off by saying, you won't be able to get a hold of me because I'm working from home. Despite her being rude and insensitive, I am curious why I cannot cancel the home insurance we purchased for my grandma's rental. Are there things missed because I didn't get her to ask me the right questions? I feel silly for doing her job. Why do I have to ask HER questions so she can help me?
