Back to 2019 Sep, our family were new to Vancouver and bought a car from Signature Mazda. A broker agent from Hub helped me to apply the insurance. It costed me CAD 6327. It included a lot of optional items. But this broker colleague (a gent from Mainland China) didn't mention to me well which items are mandatory and which items are optional. His attitude was not so helpful in helping the customers to save money. So, I paid for such huge amount. Luckily, this year, through my cousin's introducing, another good agent (a lady from Hong Kong - Vikki) in HUB gave me great help in renewal. She also helped to give a ring to ICBC to double check if I can have further discount and also helped me to renew a lucky number car plate. Originally, I hope to give 5 stars for Vikki's customer oriented attitude. But in memory of my last year's terrible experience I can only give 3 stars (which equals to 1 star + 5 star and divided by 2). STRONGLY SUGGEST HUB improves the broker agents training and give them the right procedure to guide the customers to purchase the ICBC insurance, so that HUB can provide consistance good customer experience.

Just picked my car today. Hazzel Kwon is one of the best car insurance agents I’ve ever met. She listed and explained lots of details in a short period of time, very efficient, love it. The customer service at this branch is really bad. When you change address, they still send letters to previous address. When you renew your insurance, they give you song and dance and tell you to come back the next day. I'm not going to come back the next day, I went to another agency and got the insurance renewed. And when you sell your car, they not give you the wrong form to fill out they also give you the wrong instruction. I used to work with their Burnaby branch. Once came here, these were all I experienced. No more. Done with these people.
