Mad Hatter Book Store

This place has one of the fastest shipping and best customer service I have experienced at any store. Big box book store chains cannot compete with the Mad Hatter Book Store. I was looking for a book online and found that the Mad Hatter Book Store had it. Since I was within the same province but not driving distance, I e-mailed them for a price including shipping. They got back to me within 15 minutes. After a few back and forth e-mails, they sent the book to the post office within the hour. Amazing! No other place has the customer service that this book store has. I definitely will buy from Mad Hatter Book Store again. Next time I make a trip out to the Okanagan I will certainly make a stop here.

It's a nice little book store but the comics they have are highly overpriced and not in good condition at all!

I purchased a rare poetry pamphlet from them and was charged $20.94 to ship it within BC. It was stuffed into a padded mailer with no other protection and the results can be seen below. In David Mason's book "The Pope's Bookbinder" he writes "The packing of books is not only the first thing an apprentice is taught, it is one of the most important.
