Comox Valley Toyota

We bought our 2015 Tundra a couple years back from then Rice Toyota. Have been extremely satisfied with our truck and the service we received. The salesman Perry, was low pressure and very helpful. We had been visiting him for a few years before finally pulling the trigger and buying our truck. We have again started bugging him on a somewhat regular basis as we consider second vehicle options. He is always very friendly and patient with us. His patience and low pressure attitude will keep us coming back to him first. Our truck is quite new, so aside form maintenance (oil changes, etc) we haven't had many visits to the service department, but so far all interactions with service have been great. After one appointment I noticed they did a pretty terrible job washing the truck, but I wasn't there for a wash, so can't really complain much about a complimentary add-on. Dealership is under new ownership now and I have yet to have any interactions since the change so I'm not sure what things are like today. I hope they are as good as before otherwise I may have to update this review. ******************* Dec 2020 Update: In 2017 we bought a second vehicle from Perry at Comox Valley Toyota, a new '17 iM. As we expected, great service once again. The truck has been in a few times for minor repairs and new brakes, service has always been good, although getting a time-slot for required work can be a challenge, they seem to be booking a few weeks out for most jobs so just keep that in mind.

The best Toyota Dealer on the Island no question. We were shopping for a Tacoma back in the summer and many dealers were just not feeling right. Standoffish at times and not very enjoyable to work with. Laurie was very good to deal with and we had many communications before a deal was finalized via talk and text which worked great for me. All in all, was the best new car experience I've had and the sales managers and finance staff were great too. Will definitely recommend anyone taking the drive to Comox Valley Toyota if they are looking for a Toyota. We are very happy with our new Tacoma as well!

I had the pleasure of dealing with Izik when looking for my new car. I gave him a narrow list of vehicles I would be willing to look at, and he managed to work within my requests and put in me an excellent 2010 Corolla. He was straightforward, respectful and I never once felt like I was being pushed into anything. He worked with me to honour my request of having an independent mechanic check it out and was always available to answer my questions. I did also have excellent service from Carlyn in the finance dept and a shout out to James for taking care of both myself, and my partner who purchased a few months earlier. I highly recommend this dealership for anyone who wants a low pressure experience and wants to find the right vehicle for them. I assure you they will do everything possible (and then some) to make it work for you 10/10

Huge shout out to Bikram and his sales team for the follow up and transparency that they've provided throughout my search for a used vehicle. Although I did not proceed with getting a used vehicle from their inventory, my time interacting with the Comox Valley Toyota was extremely pleasurable. Whether you're in the Lower Mainland or on the Island, the guys at Comox Valley Toyota will hook you up.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Horrible service, lies after lies about a deposit being held and then "returned several times" I will have waited for a little over a month and a half for a deposit to be given back. Salesmen wouldn't return our message, other finance staff were no help. Even when I called numerous times, asking for receipts of my refund being processed they never gave it to me. Asked for it through email first, she said no I will text it to you. Never got it. I will never go to this dealership again... Happy I found a dealership in Nanaimo who went above and beyond to get me a car that I love with amazing service from all departments as well.
