Winchelsea Motors (John Kuhn) sold me a car but neglected to file my warranty. The car also never worked. Almost doubled the purchase price in repairs, and the car is still not drivable. Spent a year asking the dealer for help, to no avail. Finally posted my story on a Facebook rant and rave site, and other people have had similar problems. Dealer's wife came on the post, pretending to be an employee, and was abusive and threatening. I am another customer who purchased a car that didn't work within a few weeks of purchase. Always brushed off at Winchelsea, I finally took the car to another mechanic, only to discover that John had never put on the 2 year warranty that I had purchased. Now the car has had a new fuel pump assembly, new starter, new spark plugs and ignition coils, new timing chain, new VVT solenoid, and is still not running. This is over $5,000 in repairs. John Kuhn takes no responsibility for not putting on the warranty that I paid for, or for selling me a truly defective car after he assured me that it had had a full and complete inspection prior to sale. Sold a Toyota SUV with a rotting frame and suspension, sold another lady a vehicle that has spent more time in the shop or parked for fear of it not starting. Apparently John and or the staff never registered the so called 2 year warranty. These complaints are posted and shared all over social media. Both customers have contacted the seller with zero resolve, or even an attempt to make things right. Pretty sad that a rotten vehicle was sold to a young mother and will do nothing to resolve, and a car sold to a retired individual that just wants to get groceries without stress and anxiety.

John and the team at Winchelsea Motors were wonderful to deal with. I was able to purchase my dream car, in my budget and the trade in value for my old car was exactly what I was hoping for. Could not recommend more! Thank you!

posting for a friend This car lot sold a young mother a Toyota suv and lasted 2 days and had to be tow back to her house in port alberni she has called several times and they never return her calls .the frame is rusted out unsafe car shop said this should not of been sold this dealership needs to deal with this .
