We first phoned about a snowmobile for sale found on advertised on LesPac. It was available but in storage. Advised we were driving 4 hours to come see it. Danny said he would take it out and clean it up. Confirmed a full maintenance was done. Also confirmed before driving there: - It was in really good condition with no issues we needed to be made aware of. - Agreed Danny would call me to put a deposit if someone else was interested. - Asked if there was any room for negotiation and was told there was a little. Fair enough. Arrived and there were some issues: - The heat shield was partially missing - The rear cable for the passenger heated handles was cut at some point and repaired with electrical tape. - There was a tear on the passenger outside wind blocking cover. - The instrument panel was changed at some point but it appears the odometer wasn’t updated to be accurate. The displays shows 3000KM but the advertisements said 9000km. (Interestingly, my bill of sale odometer was left blank, not filled in by the dealer). - And definitely some scratches as Danny explained the previous owner took it through the bush. Danny would not accept any negotiation claiming there has all of a sudden been interest (yet, it’s still there, and no one put a deposit down). Apparently Danny also did not recall in the conversation agreeing there was room for negotiation. Danny insisted firm Asking price. We paid asking and negotiated a drive belt. Got the invoice, the advertisement was for $7,499. Danny charged me $7500 on the invoice. It’s the little things all added up to a not great experience buying from this dealer. I felt they were not honest and upfront. I would not buy from them again. On a side note; this was during COVID and they were all wearing their masks wrong (under their nose). This doesn’t work to prevent the spread or protect anyone.

Purchase of a blower, very good service no pressure from the owner. Sympathetic and for a first contact I believe that they are honest people. To be continued .
