I recently bought a car at HGregoire and could not be happier with the process. The sales person, Alexandre was very kind and knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable taking my time to inspect the car and taking it for a test drive. I would highly recommend purchasing your vehicle with this company.

Best part of our experience was with Yan Martin, he was very warm and friendly, took his time with us, answered all our questions and seemed very honest! We highly recommend him! Reason for the 4 stars is because on our return to close the sale, the process was very cold and impersonal. The person wasn’t half as patient with our questions, and it seemed they just wanted us to sign the papers and get out. This is the part that needs more improvement, buying a car should be a pleasant experience from beginning to end, not just with the salesperson.

They sound friendly but be careful the sales person was giving me a look since i came in. When i mentioned her about all the rust and rock chips on the car i can tell that she was annoyed and she didnt even know anything about the car. Oh by the way, the car was in the worst condition. There was a burning oil smell and the steering wheel was broken. The car was vibrating. Just by the look, you can tell that the car wasnt taken care of properly. Just watch out what you buy cause this car would have failed within a year.

Update winter 2020. One of the winters tires they gave me with the car had a nail in it. They did not bother to check it. I had to pay to have it repaired. Toyota rav4 bought is great so far after 7 months of purchase but BE CAREFUL!!!!The problem was during the process of buying it. The price was the best among the comparables however when discussing financing, the finance person first offered me the lowest rate (6.9%) only if I took the extended warranty. After asking twice for the rate without warranty (she kept stepping out her office when I asked) , they said it was 8%. As per the law, they must present you with the highest rate first and they tried to force me to take the warranty. So I decided to pay it cash which shocked the person. When the car delivered, I questioned the person handling papers about the 490$ transfer fee as I was already paying transfer at the SAAQ. She couldn't answer me and called her senior sales rep. After asking the same question for 5 minutes, he said it was for the paperwork. I asked to see it but he said they did not have it as its at head office. I insisted on seeing it as I was "paying" for it then his phone suddenly rang. 40 secs later he came back and told me his general manager decided to just charge me 10$ instead of the 490$ (funny!!!). I had spoken to consumer protection prior to showing up: when buying a used car you only pay for the car and sales tax (all inclusive price law),anything else (unless advertised or buying a service) is a hidden fee. Also they gave me free anti rust treatment but it was a very messy job they did, merit of a complaint if i had paid. I walked out satisfied with my purchase but imagine the hundreds of people they that got fooled to paying this hidden fee or buying the extended warranty. The only positive is the after service, they replaced my radio for a faulty bluetooth within the 30 day guaranty. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND DON'T BE AFRAID ASK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE PAYING.
