6 hours before they closed I called this number to cancel plates. I know cancelling plates takes an agent two minutes. I understand the email protocol required under the new regulations with the pandemic. However, I do not understand that a single agent could not be bothered to call/email me in 6 hours. I followed up 3x. I was told ‘in person takes priority’ well.. I am in person! I went to your office where I was turned away with this sign! I can not hop across the ocean to the next island to cancel plates. I can not drive to the next office to cancel plates, how would I get back?! Thanks for costing me money and being negligent of customer service. Perhaps allow your receptionist to take email information to speed the process along if you are actually so busy you don’t have 5 minutes. Severely disappointed. You are NOT THERE TO HELP.

Since Covid I have had a heck of a time to renew my insurance and to insure my motorcycle. The staff at waypoint was awesome and had a great sence of humour. Waypoint is now my insurance provider of choice.

Waypoint Insurance is among the most incompetent and least pro-active businesses I have ever had the displeasure to encounter. Why bother using an agent? The agents do not explain anything, are prone to errors and misinformation, and readily absolve themselves of all responsibility in retrospect for their failures.
