Well first off the staff are just human, that being said the selection at this location is next to zero and the staff are drawing all of their knowledge from their website. I find it extremely disappointing that I’m motivated to go to Edmonton every time instead of the red deer store. The employees are somewhat arrogant and really don’t seem to care. As a customer if I want to shop online I will go to Amazon where the prices are cheaper, this store provides online style service and that’s about it. (it is an actual storefront however if you want something order it there wait 2 to 3 weeks and pick it up… I think Amazon does a better job LOL)
I have been purchasing camera gear at this location for that past 15 years. Staff are great and always happy to show you whatever product you want to see. During my last visit I spoke with Hank and his customer service was top notch. I would highly recommend McBain Camera Red Deer.
I am very new to photography and Judy has been amazing. She obviously is very knowledgeable and has been very helpful as im sure i have a lot of what a professional would consider stupid questions. The store is loaded full of stuff and also a great used selection for someone like myself that wants to experiment with different lenses etc...without having to spend thousands. My experience has been fantastic and will definitely be my new gadget store moving forward. You will be seeing lots of me. Thank you Judy and everyone in the store for all your help.😁
